From: Escovopsioides as a fungal antagonist of the fungus cultivated by leafcutter ants

Mycelial growth of Leucoagaricus gongylophorus, the fungus cultivated by leaf-cutter ants, in the presence of Escovopsisoides isolates. The relative mycelial growth was obtained by dividing the growth area of L. gongylophorus towards the different Escovopsioides isolates in relation to the corresponding control (absence of Escovopsioides) after 10 days. Data followed by different letters are significantly different (P ≤ 0.05). E: Escovopsis sp. LESF 19 was used for comparison. T: type species of Escovopsioides nivea.
