Strains were then exposed to high concentration of antibiotics: a. no antibiotic control, b. daptomycin (10 μg/ml, 10× MIC), c. vancomycin (25 μg/ml, 40× MIC), d. linezolid (50 μg/ml, 10× MIC), e. gentamicin (20 μg/ml, 4× MIC), and f. rifampicin (2.4 μg/ml, 40× MIC).
