From: Pinewood nematode-associated bacteria contribute to oxidative stress resistance of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus

Three Bursaphelenchus xylophilus -associated bacteria ( Serratia spp. LCN-4, LCN-16 and PWN-146) have strong resistance against the oxidative stress by H 2 O 2 . Average ± S.E. are from 3 biological replications composed of 3 technical replicate. There is no significant difference within the Serratia spp., but between Serratia spp. and E. coli OP50 (p < 0.05). Control E. coli OP50 could not survive under strong oxidative stress conditions.
