The clpP mutant forms filaments during growth at 10°C. Overnight cultures of S. Typhimurium C5 and mutants were diluted 1000-fold in LB and incubated at 10°C for 12 days without aeration and phase contrast microscopy pictures at 1000X manification were produced.
