Phylogenetic tree of SO2426 orthologs in Shewanella spp. The phylogenetic tree was constructed based on protein sequences using the maximum parsimony method implemented in PAUP* version 4.0 Beta [54]. Bootstrap values were generated using maximum parsimony. The bar scale indicates a branch length corresponding to 10 character-state changes. The GenBank accession numbers are provided in the Methods.
